eFusl FAQ

Q1: How to start?

A:To start tracking your fuel efficiency first add vehicles in Garage as picture.

(Figure-1)

Q2: How to add vehicles?

A:To add a vehicle open Garage view(Figure-1) and tap [+] button from top right of the screen. Odometer Entry Type, Odometer Units, Fill-up Units, Calculation Units are not changeable after save once.

Q3: How to edit vehicle information?

A:Open Garage view(Figure-1) and select any one from the list to edit. Only Year, Manufacturer, Model and Name are editable.

Q4: How to delete a vehicle?

A:In Garage view(Figure-1)tap [Edit] button from top left of the screen. Red minus sign button will appear with each vehicle. Tap on it to delete from garage.

Q5: How to change vehicle’s picture?

A:In eFuel view(Figure-2)tap twice on car picture then a popup will appear to import a picture. Picture can be import from Camera Roll and Photo Library. Supported ratio of picture is 3:2 (300px x 200px).

Q6. How to add fuel fill-up data?

A:In eFuel view(Figure-2)click on [Fill Fuel] button from top right of the screen. Fuel fill-up view(Figure-3)will apper. To change fill-up date tap on date displaying on top of view. Tap on [Save] button if everything complete.

(Figure-3)

Q7. Where to see fuel fill-up log?

A:In eFuel view((Figure-2) tap on [Fuel Log] button from top left of the screen.

Q8. How to edit and delete fuel fill-up data?

A:In eFuel view(Figure-2) tap on [Fuel Log] button from top left of the screen. Fuel Log view will appear. Tap any one from the list you want to edit, edit view will appear. Change old data and push [Save] button. To delete a record swap finger on targeted record. Then the delete button will appear.

Q9. How to manage partial fill-up.

A:It is possible to track partial fuel fill-up information. In fuel fill-up entry view(Figure-3) select Partial. Value for last and average fuel efficiency(MPG or km/l or l/100km) will not change until next full fill-up.

Q10. How to calculate fuel efficiency(MPG or km/l or l/100km) for standard mode odometer?

A:Select “Standard” as odometer entry type from Add New Vehicle view during vehicle setup. Insert current odometer reading in fuel fill-up entry view(Figure-3). During next fuel fill-up entry odometer reading mast be large than previous one. If you input trip meter reading for standard type odometer then average and last fuel efficiency(MPG or km/l or l/100km) will not change. For the first single entry also fuel efficiency will be 0.0. From the next full fill-up the average and last fuel efficiency velu will change.

Q11. How to export fuel fill-up data?

A:From Fuel Log view tap on action button placed on top right of the screen then a popup will appear(Figure-4). Select [Export] from the list and follow the instruction.

(Figure-4)

Q12. How to import fuel fill-up data?

A:From Fuel Log view tap on action button and select [Import] button from popup list. Next instruction will appear(Figure-4)on screen.

Q13. CSV file layout

A:The layout of exported CSV file as below.

  1. Fill-Up No. -> Auto increment serial number. This number cannot be duplicated. Order of number depends on fill-up date.
  2. Vehicle ID -> This is an uniq ID for vehicle. It will be same for all entry.
  3. Fill-Up Date -> Date of fuel fill-up. Data will sort by fill-up date in descending order.
  4. Meter Reading -> Meter reading.
  5. Odometer Unit -> Odometer reading unit. It will be same for all entry. Use ‘ml’ for ‘Mile’ and ‘km’ for ‘Kilometer’
  6. Fuel -> Quentity of fuel. It will be integer number.
  7. Fuel Unit -> Fuel calculation unit. It will be same for all entry. Use ‘gal’ for ‘Galon’ and ‘L’ for ‘Liter’.
  8. Total Price -> Fuel’s total price. Do not use any symbol like $,\.
  9. Unit Price -> Fuel’s unit price. Do not use any symbol like $,\.
  10. MPG Value -> Fuel economy calculation result for current entry.
  11. Calculation Type-> Fuel economy calculation standard.
  12. Full/Partial -> Fuel fill-up type. Full or Partial.
  13. Fill-Up Group ID-> Group id to maintain full & partial fill-up. For full fill-up use a new incremented number. Use the same ‘Fill-Up Group ID’ of last full-up for next partial fill-up

Q14.How to prepare your own import CSV file and import from computer.

A:See following pictures as reference (Figure-5) for Trip mode and (Figure-6) for Standard mode.

  • First add a vehicle into the garage. Input vehicle information like Year, Manufacturer, Model and Name (require field).
Configure Odometer type, Odometer Unit, Fuel Unit, Calculation Unit that can correspond with your CSV data.
  • Preparation for import data
Now export the blank CSV file as instruction Q11.
You can use this blank CSV file format to prepare your vehicle’s fuel log file to import.
Add fill-up logs in descending order of fuel fill-up date and time.
    1. Fill-Up No. -> Incremental serial number. This number cannot be duplicated.
    2. Vehicle ID -> You can leave it blank
    3. Fill-Up Date -> Date of fuel fill-up. Use date format as “yyyy/mm/dd”
    4. Meter Reading -> Meter reading.
    5. Odometer Unit -> You can leave it blank.
    6. Fuel -> Quentity of fuel. It will be integer number.
    7. Fuel Unit -> You can leave it blank.
    8. Total Price -> Fuel’s total price. Do not use any symbol like $,\.
    9. Unit Price -> You can leave it blank.
    10.  MPG Value -> Fuel economy calculation result.
    11.  Calculation Type -> You can leave it blank
    12.  Full/Partial -> Fuel fill-up type. “Full” or “Partial”.
    13.  Fill-Up Group ID:Group id to
For full fill-up use a new incremented number. Use the same ‘Fill-Up Group ID’
for partial fill-up until next one full fill-up. As example the first “Fill-Up Group ID”
is 1 then the next “Fill-Up Group ID” for next fill-up will be 2. If this fill-up is partial
then next “Fill-Up Group ID” will repeat and it will be 2. This repetition will continue
until next full fill-up. After that the “Fill-Up Group ID” will be 3.
maintain full partial fill-up.
  • Now follow the answer A12 to import your newly prepared CSV file.
